Sometime late last year I went to Pretoria, to audition for SABC 1' Ses'khona. They were looking for two new presenters who speak English and (Siswati or Pedi). I obviously speak Siswati and having Swati blood, I thought I had it in the bag, much to my surprise I didn't. So I woke up early that morning (4am) to travel from Kempton Park, that's how determined I was. I arrived there to find that the venue had been changed, so I had to walk even further to get to the new location in my heels and when I got there the queue was incredibly long. I ended up auditioning at around 5pm. I was tired, but I never gave up.
Some of the crazy people I met while waiting to audition
Trust me, it is not as easy at it looks, but I gave it all I had. I have grown from that I have learnt so much through that experience. It was truly amazing and I met some awesome people.
My good friend Spunky and I (He made it to the call backs and we actually saw him on one of the episodes before they picked the winners)
