Miller Party...

As a TV Personality and Artist Manager, it’s only normal that you become some sort of socialite. So you get invited to the hottest and most exclusive parties with the hottest people. Speaking of hottest parties, sometime beginning of the year I was invited to a Miller Party, courtesy of DJ Tendaness (also my best friend). The party was at GiGI’S at the Royal Swazi Sun in Ezulwini, Swaziland. Some people were dressed to impress, some people were casual and some ladies were just confused (they didn’t know the difference between sexy and sluttish). There was lots to snack on and the drinks were flowing like a fountain, It was a fun, jam packed evening full of laughter and dance. I can’t wait for the next one!

Disney Theme Birthday Party...

Disney Theme Birthday Party...(Yolly is Tinkerbell)

My very good friend Zandi asked me to attend with her, her nieces’ Disney Themed birthday party on Sunday at Kamp Kwena, Lugogo Sun in Ezulwini, Swaziland. She also asked me to cover the event and I was only happy to do so. There is no way I would pass on an opportunity to dress up like a Disney character…im a kid a heart, the cake and junk food were just a bonus. Initially I would have loved to dress like one of the Disney Princesses either Cinderella or Belle from Beauty and the Beast, because I still imagine myself to be a princess even at 25years..lol.

But since it was short notice, the best costume I could come up with was a a sexy version of Tinkerbell and I rocked it if I may say so myself. Putting the outfit together was no stress at all, i woke up at 6am and went to take some leaves from my neighbours tree..lol, sewed them together onto a belt and "bam" my outfit was ready...DAVID TLALE “watch out”

 I went all out I tell you, I had a green boob tube top and pined one leaf on it to match my skirt, put on my green peep toe shoes, put on my blonde hair and a few accessories. I was just short of wings and a magic wand, either than that I had the look on point.

II have to say though that looking fabulous normally comes with a price, my price is that I had to be on my feet throughout the day. Don't let my pretty and happy face fool you, the leaves were kinda heavy and when I wanted to sit down, I had to use some technique and strategy so they didn't get ruined...lol. And going to the loo was almost impossible, but being the lady that I am, I carried it through just like I always do (BIG SMILEY).
I had some competition from the other kids that were also dressed as Tinkerbell, but if it was a real competition I would have won hands down…im sorry, but too much creativity went into my outfit. I wont lie though, this little girl gave me some great competition, because she had her magic wand and the attitude to go with it.

Mountain Inn Swazi Promo

Last week I was approached by Mountain Inn Hotel (Swaziland), they asked me to present and to be the face of their Tourism Promo. The idea is to market the hotel internationally, but you cant get the best  results without marketing the country in itself. So we went to Mlilwane Game Reserve and some other tourist attraction places to do things like biking, birding, games drives, swimming etc, to show some  of the really fun and exciting things you can do when you visit the Kingdom of Swaziland. We had an amazing photographer/videographer by the name of Jan Van Der Meer from Holland.

This is how my day started, I attended a few meetings, and then I went to Mountain Inn to discuss the day proceedings over a lovely and healthy lunch. I try to eat food that is good for my blood type...dont ask! But more than anything, i just didnt want to risk anything happening, after all it was going to be a long day of shooting in the jungle..lol

From there I went to my room to freshen up and got ready for the shoot. As I was going to be presenting the show, I couldn’t be casual, I had to dress to impress with my Swazi regalia. It was fun and glamorous at first until we started to go through the forest while birding. I was thinking to myself “I must be the only person I know who would wear a beautiful wedge shoe in the forest.

I didn’t disappoint though, I carried the look like a lady is supposed to…lol. I wont lie, at some point i was tired and i just couldn smile anymore. Over all though,  I represented my country well, looked good while I did so and had lots of fun….. After all nothing brings me more pleasure than being in front of the camera. MY CELEBRITY LOOK ALIKE

My Celebrity Look Alikes...

You know how they say there is someone in the world who looks almost exactly like you? Kinda like Minenhle “Minny” Dlamini and Boitumelo“Boity” Thulo and yet they are not related.

Well in my case it’s a few people, so iv heard anyway. I’ve heard that I look like Lira (South African Songstress), Tumi Masemola (from City Ses’la & Gang of Instrumentals, Busi Lurayi (Akhona from Generations), Zenande Mfenyane (Noluntu from Generations) Gugulethu Zuma (President Zuma’s daughter and Isidingo Actress) and Kerry Washington (American Actress). It has gotten so out of hand that when I go to the mall, shell ultra city or and garage, people stop me and ask me for autographs. Or else they stop me to tell me that they know me from somewhere.  I disagree with most of them,” but fine let us put it to the test. I will have my pictures put next to some of them and you be the judge, tell me what you think!

I actually met Tumi and Mandla about 2 years ago at the Coca Cola Dome, we had gone there the G-UNIT concert and they agree that we look alike. I think its just the lisp.

Oh, you know what? Now that I think about it, I do look like Kerry Washington!!!.
Im going to let you decide though.....have fun making me look pretty!!!
