8 months later… After all the braining storming, planning, travelling, advertising, putting things together, crying, sweat and tears, changing locations, disappointment and some joy….the day finally came when Gemstones was to no longer be just a dream but a reality. The amount of work that went into this project still gives me shivers I promise. Just seeing it all come together was so overwhelming, but still an amazing feeling.
Planning for the launch itself was just another experience,
one I will remember for ever and always, all the good and bad. The night before
the launch I literally slept on the couch at the store, it was as though there
was still so much to do. Nevertheless it happened, the launch was an incredible
success, I thank God for giving me the strength to do all that I did.
A big shout out to all our friends and family who came through to get their nails done and to share in this moment. A shout out to the nail technicians (Gcebile, Ndumy and Bongi). A bigger shout out to my cupcake Delsie who came all the way from Durban to do her nails and to be of support.
An even bigger shout out to my hubby (I love you baby) and my partner in crime Nokwanda Simelane (this is only the beginning ne chomi).
